BRIA WRIGHT
LMHCA
I am a dedicated Associate Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and Nationally Certified Counselor with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which I earned from Central Washington University. My therapeutic approach centers on client empowerment, self-discovery, and personal growth. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process and I prioritize establishing an empathetic relationship to ensure our work is applicable to your specific life events. My goals surround helping you define your own goals, reframe thoughts that cause you distress, and aiding you in establishing your values in life.

I have experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety and general distress regarding life transitions. I am especially passionate about providing services to clients who identify as racial and ethnic minorities, young adults, and individuals struggling with mood disorders. I work from a person-centered theoretical orientation and I incorporate aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based counseling. I prioritize the decolonization of mental health care and encourage clients to discuss their cultural backgrounds, knowing that they are in a judgment free space.
