“Julie meets her clients with compassion and nonjudgment, creating a safe space where clients can explore challenging experiences and emotions.”
Julie meets her clients with compassion and nonjudgment, creating a safe space where clients can explore challenging experiences and emotions. Her clinical experience includes supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, self-worth, stress and burnout, chronic pain and illness, and personal growth.
Julie works alongside her clients to create a meaningful plan for therapy. Clinical tools and concepts often used include Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based work, mind-body techniques, the Enneagram, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
Julie earned her Master of Social Work from UC Berkeley and spent many years at a children’s hospital supporting families of children with chronic and life-threatening conditions. In addition to her clinical work, she raised a family and taught yoga, both of which continue to inform her approach. Julie has always valued helping others and welcomes the opportunity to work together.
