CHELSEA WILKES

MFT INTERN

As a Couple and Family Therapy Intern, Chelsea aims to provide a safe and accepting space that supports healing through warmth, compassion and empathy. Chelsea enjoys supporting couples, families and individuals in reaching their therapeutic and personal goals by offering such a space to feel seen, heard and valued. Chelsea draws from Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems, Solution Focused therapy, and Narrative therapy. She is also completing Gottman Couple Therapy training.

Chelsea received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with two minors in Art & Design and Environmental Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. She is continuing her education at Antioch University of New England where she is completing a Master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy. From her work in Sociology, she developed a passion for understanding the intricacies of social systems and how these systems can ultimately influence human behavior and development. As such, Chelsea utilizes family systems theory as a way of understanding what has contributed to a person’s development and perspective.
