With an MS degree in Professional Counseling, and an Associate License in Mental Health Counseling, Suparna is dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome challenges related to mental health and well-being. Suparna’s therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from a range of techniques and theories used to create a customized treatment plan for each client. Some of the techniques she employs include Impact therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Family Systems Theory. Additionally, Suparna relies on using Mindful Meditation, Positive Psychology, and Progressive Relaxation as helping tools.
Suparna’s expertise lies in working with diverse populations - including adolescents, adults and geriatrics, in helping them deal with stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment and transition issues. Suparna has a keen understanding of multicultural intricacies and the importance of offering a welcoming and inclusive environment. Using her empathetic and non-judgmental approach, she loves helping young parents navigate the challenges of parenting while also managing their own mental health. Suparna’s passion lies in empowering and enabling clients to build the skills and resilience they need to live their best lives and find their path to healing and growth.
