ABIGAIL DESPAIN

Abigail is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complexities of their relationships during their unique therapeutic journeys. Abigail believes that therapy is a collaborative process and aims to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for her clients to explore their challenges and strengths, and ultimately reach their therapeutic goals. Abigail understands that therapy can be challenging, and is here to support her clients every step of the way.

Abigail enjoys working with clients of all ages and has experience with a wide range of presenting concerns such as anxiety, self-esteem, relational conflicts, and life transitions. Abigail has a Humanistic therapeutic approach and enjoys utilizing a variety of evidenced-based therapeutic modalities to help her clients' individual needs. Abigail integrates Experiential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Emotion-Focused Therapy in her work with clients. Abigail has also completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and enjoys utilizing this method in her work with couples.

Abigail received her Master of Science in Couples, Marriage and Family Therapy from the COAMFTE-Accredited, Texas Tech University.
