“I have developed a strong interest in trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care, including work with relational trauma, burnout, and identity-related concerns.”

As a neurodivergent clinician with AuDHD and a survivor of trauma herself, Kuhu is extremely passionate about therapeutic work. Her unique lense allows her to connect with her clients on a personal and genuine level. Authenticity, compassion, and growth are Kuhu’s frameworks for the therapeutic process. She is passionate about creating a space that removes the power dynamic between client and clinician, which allows her clients to feel comfortable fully being themselves.

She has deep compassion for every person and will be direct when it comes to naming and challenging unhelpful patterns of behavior that keep people stuck. She believes that every person already has within them the capacity to live the life they truly want and she’s honored to be part the process of uncovering those innate strengths and seeing her clients thrive.

Kuhu has developed a strong interest in trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care, including work with relational trauma, burnout, and identity-related concerns. Kuhu is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Kuhu received her BA in Psychology from University of Colorado Boulder and her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. Kuhu has experience working in substance use treatment facilities, psychiatric hospitals, transitional housing, and the 988 crisis line.
