“Sage believes that clients are experts on their own lives, and she works alongside them on their journey of healing and growth.”

Sage is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor’s degree in Canada from the University of Western Ontario, where she studied Consumer Behavior and Psychology. Having lived and trained in the United States, Canada, and China, she brings a cross-cultural perspective and a strong sense of cultural humility to her work.

She offers counseling in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

Sage enjoys connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of concerns.

Her approach is integrative, holistic, client-centered, and trauma-informed. Depending on each client’s goals and needs, Sage draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), mindfulness, somatic and body-based techniques, and other evidence-based practices.

Sage believes that clients are experts on their own lives, and she works alongside them on their journey of healing and growth. Collaboratively, they explore what matters most, how they want to move forward, and develop new perspectives and practical tools to achieve their goals. She is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where clients can openly share their experiences without fear of judgment, and move toward lives that feel more authentic and fulfilling.
