“Adriana normalizes life’s challenges as a natural part of the human experience, fostering a sense of agency and empowerment in her clients.”

Adriana Kimpton is a counselor who provides a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore meaningful growth and change.

Adriana’s primary theoretical orientation is humanistic, grounded in a person-centered foundation. She views clients as the experts of their own lives and emphasizes collaboration as a central part of the therapeutic process. She supports clients in navigating difficult emotions, aligning their actions with personal values, reshaping internal narratives to highlight strengths, and developing more adaptive thought patterns.

Adriana normalizes life’s challenges as a natural part of the human experience, fostering a sense of agency and empowerment in her clients. Adriana integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches, tailoring her work to each client’s unique goals, needs, and lived experiences.

Adriana believes that clients already hold the capacity for growth and healing within themselves. Therapy becomes a space to uncover, strengthen, and build trust in those internal resources. Drawing from both her lived experiences and formal training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, she brings a grounded, empathetic perspective to her work. She is passionate about helping clients deepen emotional awareness and develop practical skills to support healthier relationships and overall well-being.

In her free time, Adriana loves to spend time outdoors, crochet, and hang out with her cats.
