he/they
Joey is a queer Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who brings humor, curiosity, and compassion into his work. He is passionate about supporting clients navigating trauma, chronic pain and illness, neurodiversity, gender identity, and relationship challenges, as well as those feeling stuck or disconnected.
His clinical work is collaborative and tailored to each client. Joey integrates narrative therapy, family systems, attachment-based work, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, and somatic therapy to help clients better understand their emotions, improve self-esteem, shift unhelpful patterns, and build more fulfilling relationships.
Therapy with Joey is active and engaging, often blending practical tools with deeper exploration. He has experience supporting adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, emotional overwhelm, family conflict, identity exploration, and life transitions.
Joey strives to create a trauma-informed and inclusive space, with a strong commitment to working with LGBTQ+ clients and those who have felt unseen or misunderstood.
When not in the office, Joey enjoys playing video games, reading fantasy and comics, walking trails, and tabletop RPGs!
